An Attitude of Gratitude!

Most of you who know me, know I work at our local elementary school. Most of you who know me, also know I do not mind working, but of course I would rather be home. Well the absolute best thing about my job (besides the children) is the people I work with. I have been able to meet so many wonderful people, and I am so honored to count them among my friends. Well one of these wonderful people issued a challenge on her blog--a thankfulness challenge! This is something we probably all think about when November rolls around and then are sorry we did not do anything about when December comes! She is posting one thing she is grateful for on her blog every day for the month of November. Of course you don't have to post it, you could write it in your journal, or on a post it, or in toothpaste on your mirror if you want!! I chose to post mine, because I want my children to see the things I am most grateful for. I am really going to try and individualize mine--hence the first thing on my list!! Have fun with this--and Happy Thanksgiving! Nov.26 I am thankful for "wise" and "foolish" friends!

It's good (and fun, too, I might add)to remember more specific blessings (i.e. not just "clothes" but warm jammies :) And things like friends named Jaime who are good examples! :)

AH...YOU'RE the best. It's fun when you're in the office. You are always a sight for sore eyes. Partly because we LOVE you and partly because it means it's almost FRIDAY! Love you!

I'm thankful for a son in law that loves my daughter, for a daughter who I love with all my heart and for my wonderful, beautiful, grandkids. I'm thankful that it's not raining today and the leaves are stunning and remind me of my mom. I'm thankful that I can open this blog and feel close to you.

That's a great idea! When I listened to Elder Bednar's conference talk on prayer, I decided I wanted to express more gratitude in my prayers and it has been really nice. Now I just need to be better at expressing my gratitude in my everyday life. I really do have a wonderful life and I am truly thankful for it!!!
